Just an update on us!

Well... where to start... I think first off I want to start by thanking everyone for being so great! We are so thankful for our friends and family and all that they do for us! I am now 11 weeks pregnant and very very sick! Already people have given us more than we could wish for! We have a Jumper, a car-seat, and we are borrowing a swing from our friends Ty and Cristi! We still have a long ways to go but all these fun things are making us more excited than we thought we would be at this point. The first week of August is the time the doctor told us to be expecting to make our family 3 instead of 2!
Tim is still going to school Tuesdays and Thursdays from morning till night and working every chance he gets in between. I had an interview with the U of U hospital last Monday and was informed today that I got the job! yeah! I am very excited to finally graduate from nursing home to hospital! I will be working as a CNA on 6 south the grave yard shift. The good thing is they are 12 hour shifts so I have 3 on and 4 off a week! Plus at night I get more pay! That makes me very happy because in about 2 months I will know what to shop for as far as boy or girl and the extra cash will come in handy!

It's Christmas Time

Heather and I must apologize for not keeping this up to date. We have been married for two months now, and Christmas has really come quick this year. Heather is still working at the Canyon Rim Care Center, and she is now an RNA (Restorative Nurses Assistant). I still don't know how she musters her way through the twelve hour shifts she works.... For those who have not found out yet Heather is pregnant. We found out a week and a half ago, so if you find out from reading this post we are sorry if we haven't spoken to you and filled you in on our exciting news. We have names picked out we like and anticipate having a child the end of July 2009. As a disclaimer... Ha ha! Having a child was not what we were planning on, but we are so grateful for Heavenly Father sending us one. I know Heather will be a fantastic Mother, and Heather's family is an amazing support! Heather was applying for nursing school but now she is going to work until after the baby is born and help me with my schooling. We both really want to get our education done. Heather is simply AMAZING!!! She does so much, and I can never thank her enough!
As for me, I am still working at the home Depot. I have been there for just about three months now as a cashier. I enjoy it, and it is not much different than working at Lowe's (I worked at Lowe's for about 4 years). They allow me to go to school and work enough to get a reasonable paycheck. This last semester of school at LDSBC finished last week, and I was glad it came to an end. I often get 'Break ites' towards the close of a semester. This next semester is going to be very fun, and busy. In order to graduate in the fall I need to take sixteen credit hours this next semester, nine in the summer and then finish up with twelve in the fall. All my classes I signed up for this coming semester are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thursdays I will be at school from seven forty in the morning until ten o'clock at night. Its a good thing I have breaks in between classes. Well that's enough for know we look forward to seeing family and friends this Holiday season... and we wish all of those we don't see a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Wedding Weekend

Hello everyone,

The months leading up to the wedding this weekend have gone by so fast! The closer and closer we have come to the wedding day our excitement has increased, and so has our stress! We take stress with a good attitude, otherwise we wouldn't have fun.
We have enjoyed the time we have been able to spend with family and friends planning the wedding reception, which is going to be an amazing experience. We are so grateful to Mindy for all the work that she has put into the wedding, she has gone above and beyond the call.
Earlier this week Heather had a family bridal shower at Grandma Ida's place. We received many wonderful gifts, and wish we could adequately express our thanks. I came in towards the end of the shower and was able to pull ribbons out of Heather's hair and kiss her for each one. That was fun! It embarrassed Heather a little bit but I loved every minute of it. Heather's family is so wonderful, I have enjoyed the welcoming, warm, and loving embrace I have received into the family. It has been so fun playing card games, chatting, and eating more snacks most of us think we should eat.
The day after Heather's family bridal shower we went to the Bountiful Temple and Heather took her endowments out. The event was a very spiritual experience, there were some experiences we had there that we will always remember. The family members who came shared happy tears and were so excited and for us. We had such a good time that we decided to go to Chili's for lunch.
Heather's birthday is tomorrow and her close "girl" friends and a few family members our throwing her a party while my friends throw me a bachelor party. I am sure the parties will be fun and that we will be awake and ready for the sealing in the Salt Lake Temple Friday morning. The reception will be fantastic and we hope to see you there! We can't say thank you enough to everyone who has helped us make the beginning of our lives together the best it can be! We are leaving for Oceanside California for our honeymoon on Saturday. ** We were going to put pictures of the shower up with this post but Heather will have to get them and add them later! **

Crazy Busy and Lovin it!

So, where to start..... (We went to bear lake, it was fun..) how about sorry i haven't posted anything in so freaking long! but as you all know I am planning a wedding! on top of that I have been working about 60 plus hours a week! agh! But i love it! Mainly I love the pay checks I get every two weeks! sad day when i realize after all my grown up responsibilities are payed for I have hardly anything left. Well, all is going good as far as wedding plans! we will be married in the Salt Lake temple on October 17th and then later that night we are having a reception! I hope you all got your invites! Tim has been going to school and enjoying it for the most part, he tried out for the LDS Jubilee Choir and made it! I am very happy for him! it is something he really enjoys and it doesn't conflict with his class schedule. He is also taking a photography class and has taken some really cool pictures. We will add some of them soon! On top of his classes he is now working at the Home Depot a mile or so from our apartment. Other than wedding plans, work, and school, we have been moving into our apt. Tim has been living in it but it has taken time to move all my crap and all the awesome shower gifts in. It is all coming together and I can't wait til the 17th so i can start spending forever with my honey!
